How much does a bespoke garment cost?

This is like asking
"How long is a piece of string?"

The answer really is
"How much do you want to pay?"

When commissioning your dream garment so much depends on the design, the cut and the fabric.  Meeting for a consultation will allow us to discuss your requirements and will result in design sketches and a realistic quote. This consultation is free.

You should budget to spend more than you would at a retail store; after all, this is something created uniquely for you.

At the first consultation we will discuss:

Timescales
As most weddings and proms are seasonal, as with the rush to Christmas it helps if you can get in touch as soon as possible so we can book your work in.

Fabrics
We will look at samples and from these get an idea of the cost of the 'raw materials'.

Samples
Completed garments will be available for you to see.

Budget
The design, fabric, and any special considerations will all be a factor in the final price.

Contract and payments
Sounds very formal but it is to protect both of us!

Before our consultation please don't purchase patterns or fabric, as often costly mistakes can be made due to the difference between pattern sizes and shop sizes, and the suitability of the fabric for the garment.
